At The Pines Campground, we understand there is a balance between boredom and relaxation. We have planned activities all summer. Take a look at our activities month by month below to see if there is something that interests you. We have art's and crafts for kids every Saturday morning.

May

Memorial Day Weekend

Date: May 24th-27th (Friday-Monday)
Saturday:
  • Arts and crafts 11am-12pm
  • Adult horse shoe competition 2pm
  • Rabbit showing at Rec Hall 3pm
Sunday:  
  • Out games for the children 3pm
  • Bonfire at dusk

Arts & Crafts

Date: Every Saturday 11am-12pm During Summer Season
Get a break from the kids and send them by the rec hall for arts and crafts, or outdoor games with our activity director every Saturday 11am-12pm

June

Potluck

Date: June 8th & 22nd (Saturday)
Join us for our potlock dinner, hosted in our Rec hall at 6pm. Please bring something to share with other campers.

Arts & Crafts

Date: Every Saturday 11am-12pm
During Summer Season
Get a break from the kids and send them by the rec hall for arts and crafts, or outdoor games with our activity director every Saturday 11am-12pm

July

Forth of
July Weekend

Date: July 4th-7th (Thursday-Sunday)
Celebrate Independence Day at The Pines.
Friday:
  • Arts and crafts in our Rec Hall, 11am-12pm
  • Rabbits 3pm
  • Horseshoes 2pm
Saturday:
  • Arts and Crafts 11am
  • Bonfire at dusk

Christmas in July

Date: July 20th (Saturday)
Santa makes a special visit to Th Pines
  • Decorating for Santa at 2pm
  • Arrive at Rec Hall for 5:30pm to have snacks and beverages while we wait for Santa.
(Gifts are to bought by parents and dropped off at office. Have them wrapped with child's name and site number)

Potlock

Date: July 27th (Saturday)
Join us for our potlock dinner, hosted in our Rec hall at 6pm. Please bring something to share with other campers.

August

Halloween at The Pines

Date: August 3rd (Saturday)
Spooky season comes a few months early for The Pines
  • Pick a costume 2pm
  • Halloween Party 5pm
  • Trick O Treating 6pm

Chili Cook Off

Date: August 17th (Saturday)
Make some chili to compete and eat! 5pm
(It's $5 to eat, money is donated to winner)

Annual Pig Roast

Date: October 12th (Saturday)
Our biggest dinner of the season is here with our pig roast. We eat at 3pm ($)

End of the
Summer Season

Date: October 15th (Tuesday)
Our summer season comes to a close, but the camping doesn't stop! Call us for questions regarding winter camping or any season

Staff has the right to change activities as needed.

Arts and Crafts start every SATURDAY at 11:00AM during the Summer season.
On Activity Weekends inquire in the office about planned activities and times.
